Quiz Reminder: How will you study?

On Thursday/ Friday you will be taking a quiz on simple and compound sentences.  In preparation, you should review the handouts in the "grammar" section of your binder.  I strongly suggest that you make sure you can:
  • can identify subjects and predicates
  • can identify compound subjects and predicates
  • can tell the difference between a simple and compound sentence
  • can list all of the coordinating conjunctions
  • know the four ways to punctuate a compound sentence
On the quiz you will be asked to identify compound and simple sentences.  You will also be asked to correctly punctuate sentences.  Happy studying.  If anyone has a great strategy for studying, please share it by posting a comment.
